Shea butter is extracted through physical processes from the nut of the African Shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii) and contains allantoin, vitamin A, unsaponifiable fats (oleic acid, stearic acid), with anti-irritant and moisturizing properties.
It provides protection to the epidermis, even against UV rays, nourishes, smoothens, and soothes the skin.
It protects and strengthens the intercellular cement and the hydrolipidic layer of the skin, stimulates cellular metabolism, and supports capillary circulation.
Due to its high concentration of unsaponifiable substances (approximately 5%), it efficiently protects against the harmful effects of external factors and soothes irritations.
