Firstly, a thorough cleaning is needed in the closets and drawers with clothes. Take out all the clothes and shake each garment individually outside, in fresh air. This ensures that no moths remain among the clothes. Optionally, you can wash all the clothes to make sure no moths are left among them.
Simultaneously, it is recommended to clean the interior of the closets and drawers very well with a mixture of one part water and one part apple cider vinegar to eliminate unpleasant odors and repel moths.
After the furniture is completely dry and before putting the clothes back, place mothballs in the closets and drawers, then reintroduce the clothes.
This operation should be performed at least twice a year to prevent the appearance and proliferation of moths.
